Design & Build Quality
The first thing you’ll notice is how compact the COMFEE is. It doesn’t dominate the room like a traditional washing machine, making it ideal for apartments, dorms, RVs, and laundry closets.
Despite its smaller footprint, it feels well-built. The stainless steel drum resists rust, while the transparent lid allows you to monitor the wash cycle without opening the machine.
The digital control panel is simple to understand, with clearly labeled wash programs and temperature options.
Design Rating: 9/10
Installation
Setting up the COMFEE takes only a few minutes.
Inside the box you’ll typically find:
- Water inlet hose
- Drain hose
- Faucet adapter
- User manual
Most users can connect the washer to a standard kitchen or bathroom faucet without professional installation.
For renters, this is a major advantage since no permanent plumbing modifications are required.
Installation Rating: 10/10
Washing Performance
For a portable washer, the COMFEE performs impressively well.
It easily handles:
- Everyday clothing
- T-shirts
- Jeans
- Towels
- Bed sheets
- Baby clothes
The six wash programs provide enough flexibility for most households, while the hot, warm, and cold water options allow you to choose the right setting for different fabrics.
Although the 1.6 cu. ft. drum isn’t as spacious as some larger portable washers, it’s more than enough for individuals and couples.
Performance Rating: 9.2/10
Spin Performance
The built-in spin cycle removes a significant amount of water from clothing, helping reduce drying time.
As with most portable washers, you’ll get the best results when loads are evenly distributed.
Heavy or uneven loads can cause vibration, but this is common among compact washing machines and is easily avoided by balancing the load properly.
Spin Rating: 9/10
Noise Level
The wash cycle is relatively quiet and suitable for apartment living.
During the spin cycle, the machine becomes more noticeable, but it’s still quieter than many older portable washers.
Overall, noise shouldn’t be a concern unless you’re running the machine late at night in a very small apartment.
Noise Rating: 8.8/10
Energy Efficiency
One of the biggest advantages of the COMFEE is its efficiency.
Its smaller capacity naturally uses less water and electricity than larger portable washers, making it a good option for anyone looking to reduce utility costs.
If you typically wash smaller loads, you’ll appreciate the savings over time.
